Agentlens
Cookie Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
This is an unusually short cookie policy, because Agentlens is cookieless by design. Here is the complete inventory.
The product: zero cookies
The Agentlens snippet (al.js) and the server SDKs set
no cookies at all on the sites that install them — no
analytics cookies, no "essential" cookies, nothing. They also use no
localStorage and no fingerprinting. That is why sites measuring traffic
with Agentlens do not need a consent banner for it.
This marketing site: one cookie, optional
The site you are reading now is measured with our own cookieless snippet (we dog-food). It shows a notice banner explaining exactly that. If you dismiss the banner, we set one first-party cookie so we don't show it again:
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
al_notice_dismissed | Remembers you dismissed the cookie notice | 180 days | First-party, functional, set only on click |
If you never click "Got it", no cookie is set. The banner appears on the marketing site only — its scope is this site's own notice, not the product.
The dashboard: essential sign-in cookies only
When you sign in to the Agentlens dashboard, our authentication system sets strictly necessary session cookies to keep you signed in, plus a small preference cookie remembering which of your sites you last viewed. These are essential to operate the account you asked for, are first-party, and are not used for tracking or advertising.
Third-party cookies
We embed no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics anywhere. Checkout pages are hosted by Polar, our merchant of record, which sets its own cookies under its policy during payment.
